This thing is pretty cool (albeit pricey at $275.00) but if you built a bunch of woodies each year, I can see how it could pay for itself rather quickly!

Right fancy there. Nice tool but as you said, a bit pricy for the average Carp.

Id consider it, if I was making a lot of arrows and was selling to folks based on their required specs not having them there to experiment with. Since im simply doing a few for myself, I can order spine/deflection and tune to shot, and hand straighten. Be nice for a business though.

Interesting piece of equipment. I have to disagree about the complaint of the price. For what you are getting it is relatively inexpensive. You get a grain scale, spine tester, and straightness analyzer. For middle of the road equipment, to purchase all three would cost over $300. Plus the fact that it is in one machine that doesn't take up much space.
