Spending my evenings researching cap dipping and cresting options and methods. Having only made one rather crude and spartan set of woodies in the past, I am getting pretty pumped up about creating something more than utilitarian pointy sticks, somewhat the way some of you are about creating bows (I admit to still being gaga over Tony's green glasser).
I can't say exactly why this is, but I guess on this forum I don't have to have a reason or excuse.
I hope it turns out to be what I anticipate because I really enjoy a gorgeous wood arrow!
They border on artwork.
And like my bow building friends, I fully expect to experience a few "epic fails"...
I's be learnin'!

The only time we really fail, is when we give up. To that point, its just lessons.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
