The last thing I did tonight was to make a string and string it up. Ended up making it too short, still have over an 8" brace height. I so bad wanted to draw on it but am not supposed to do that now, from just stringing it and very short drawing I'm afraid I may overshot the poundage. I wanted an Elk bow but not a Elephant bow!

Already looking for an excuse to build another, lol.

Sitting here in a cloud of dust after much sanding this evening, no use doing a picture since it don't look any different than last night. After some sanding on the limb sides it don't feel like it will be too awful bad on draw weight. Steve will be by tomorrow to pick up a string, he was crazy enough to draw my last one, that's the one I cracked the glass on. Maybe I can get him to be the first to draw this one also. Eat your wheaties Steve!

Ginny pig Steve came by today so I got him to draw it for the first time! Remember he is my bow scale; he usually gets pretty close, he guessed 48-49lb.
