Since its not possible for me to shoot hardly any of the bows im interested in, I'll have to depend upon an overwhelming majority of archers who HAVE shot them, to guide me to the bow I want. I must admit and with all things considered, I dont know how anything else out there can beat out the great reviews of Toelke bows. Big Jim's Thunderchild, and Buffalo bow has my attention too, but man its a year long wait list... plus I just can't seem to shake the Toelke whip....I hate to make an early decision, but I cannot get deeply interested in anything else.

Yeah, that's one of the kind of bogus things about trad archery...generally you don't get to try something out before you buy (especially with a custom build). The Toelke Whips have a dynamite rep.

Thats one of the reasons I love going to RMSG but those guys said if they usually dont get many toelkes or big jims and the like and if they do they dont last long. I did shoot a short toelke recurve, I think they call it the troll now. Very nice bow but was a little too light for me to get a good idea of its power.

Yeah, it sure does. I have never tried or seen one of these in person. Heck you may be closer to the bowyer than we are on the East Side of the state. Bowyer is West of. Dodge. City.

I had considered GP bows. There are a fair amount of them selling used. This isnt the first time I have looked at them either. Back in the mid 90's or so they were going pretty big, not to awful long after I had bought a Widow. I think Mohawk looked at them a fair amount too.
