No, not done yet. I didn't do anything with it during the weekend. Did things around the place here.

I pulled the longbow from the form today.

Then I sanded the epoxy off the edges, making sure I keep them as straight as possible.

This build is pretty basic. You all have probably seen this stuff many times. It would probably be more interesting if I was doing something more on the custom exotic side.

Jose', Elkman builds a really nice bow. He built the Elk Seeker that Larry gifted me.

Didn't get very far today.

I got all excess epoxy off and then got the edges as straight as I could. Then I mark a line close to center, parallel to the straightest edge.

Once I have my line I use it to line up the limb shape template. I measure out the bow length from center and mark each end were they get cut.

Here is a better pic of the riser so far. Glue lines and fadeouts look good.

Now is when things start to slow down a little bit.
