Bear bows and tackle

#1 Post by Captainkirk »

Well my collection of vintage Bear bows isn't very big, but it doubled in size!
Now up to TWO!
First is my '72-'73 Grizzly, R/H 45#@28 (not sure on the year because the PO refinished it and removed the serial number...d'oh!)

The second is, of course, the Tamerlane I just bought...1969, R/H 35@28", 69"AMO

Starting to get an itch for another....

Just recently got rid of a 69 grizzly and a 57 cub both in excellent condition. Didn't shoot em any due to poundage.,down to my k mag and a 30# black bear with sea foam green colored or turquoise looking limbs not sure what year it was made. Would like to shoot a 40# montana before I end up getting one on impulse.

You got pix of the Griz or Cub?
I would also like to shoot the Montana, but if I like it I might end up taking it home....

No pics, i let a pawn shop have them way too cheap because I didn't shoot them, should have listed them on here, the grizzly was an excellent shooter but was 58# i figured I might damage myself if I kept shooting it. Go to bass pro and try a montana and tell me what you think about it.

Here is a photo with the quiver attached, also made by Bear and period correct.

They are, Dan. I'm starting to get the notion to collect a few.

I have 2 older kmags. Always liked the looks of the tamerlane and the 59 kodiak.

Can you post them up here? That's what this thread is all about!
