Mark saw a few from his ground perch but out of range. We were hunting near a corn field that was being harvested, Deer usually gather in these newly cut fields, lots of corn spills out. Just hard to pinpoint where they will come out of in these large fields. Hey; I guess I’m hunting over Bait. 8-)

Sitting here this morning watching the rain and wind I had a brain poot. I thought; Okay ain’t nobody dumb enough to hunt in this nasty stuff, so I grabbed my stuff and hit the road to my hunting area. I started about 9:30 and hunted until around 2:00. Then scouting around while I could do it quite with the wet ground. Still did not find the first scrape! Did run upon a few rubs though.

I’m just glad I didn’t hunt where I usually do, behind Marks Dads house. Mark was there this evening and took a picture from the back deck to tease me.
