I kinda liked the old solid black bows that Black Widow used to make .
They were great shooters and had very nice lines to look at .
The only downside to them was the magnesium handle , in cold weather it was very uncomfortable to grip .

Forgot.... fred bear Polar 1957 and 1958 if I correctly identified the one I had.

I agree about the older polars. The Bear rep at Compton last summer asked what one of my favorites are in my colli told him definitely 59 polar was on that list. 62 KS and also 67-1/2 super Kodiak. That bow out shoots my brand new bob lee. Love all of them
