General Cooking tips

#1 Post by Graps »

I know this is Campfire but I feel that this type of advice belongs here instead of the recipe section .

Feel free to post your cooking advice here .

My first one is , when cooking kale and tofu , if you add a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil to the pot , it will be easier to scrap into the garbage can .

When cooking a roast from an old dairy cow put a horse shoe in the cooking pot with the roast .
When you can stick a fork in the horse shoe , the roast will be ready to eat .

This one is for carp .
Scale and gut out the carp .
find a 1x6 pine board long enough to hold the entire carp .
Nail the head of the carp to the board , place on a broiler rack and back for one hour at 350 degrees .
Then set the whole thing someplace to cool .
Remove the nail , throw the carp away and then eat the board .

How to flash fry an old squirrel.

First You need an old tough squirrel with jewels approximately the size of an average angus bull. Get pan of oil good and hot. Don't worry about any coatings..it just burns and gets in the way. Cut up squirrel with chain saw that has freshly sharpened chain. Discard chain when done, set saw aside. When oil is hot, cook squirrel as fast as possible until well done. Remove and let completely cool. Using band saw cut very thin strips from meat and forming sheets. Use leather sewing kit, and craft the best pair of boots you ever had. Enjoy new boots for the rest of your life.

Best way to eat clam.

First drive to local park and find playground. Locate Sand box and scoop up sand with spoon. Eat at will.
