Went to hand corn

#1 Post by White Falcon »

Went to hand corn today. These guys were already there looking for a hand out. All I had with me was my Hawk. I had to through stones at them to get them to move, ( only went about 20 yds at a time) I'll be back next week with something other than my Hawk!!

Is that bacon I smell?
When I was a boy we always fattened our hogs on a floored pen, it may take longer this way.  Good luck on the harvesting.

I have never gotten to hunt hogs, we don't have any where I'm from. I need to take a trip sometime and try it. Looking forward to pictures of one of them on the ground.

Them hogs may be a bit leaner than a fattened up domestic but what little bit of wild hog I've had was fantastic. I'd like to get ahold of one just for that dang fresh side and chops. :D
