Home made cat whiskers .

#1 Post by Graps »

Thought I would share another of my cheep home made tricks .
This is an old bunjie strap , cut to about 3" and cut the cloth outside off .
Then separate as much cat whiskers as you want and using a small cable tie , attach on your string where you want it and then pull the whiskers apart and start shooting .
Some people will separate the bow string and just insert them and when your bow is strung up , it holds them in place .
I haven't tried that method but I don't see why it wouldn't work .

Some people when installing cat whiskers will take the bundle and tie it around the string , but that just adds much more mass weight than using shorter whiskers and the small cable tie .
