Back in the late 70s I had a Bear Takedown "C" handle with target limbs .
I was a little short of cash so I went to the archery shop and they gave me $200.00 for it .
A week later the shop owner called me over to the counter when I stopped by .
He had that bow hanging on the wall behind the counter and told me that just the day before Fred Bear had stopped in just to say hi to one of his dealers .
Fred saw the "C" handle and asked to see it , out came the Sharpie and he signed it .

The owner then told me the bow was now worth $1000.00 .

Now fast forward about two years , the archery shop burned down and the bow is forever gone .
Can you believe it ?

Yeah , it's going to be all Birdseye Maple , Helms Deep , 52" .

Can you believe it?...the '69 Tamerlane I bought a couple years back...turns out it's rare due to the black glass on the tips and riser! And I stole it to begin with! (one heckuva deal on a bow probably worth 5X what I paid)

Can you believe Graps is going to have javaman send me the bow first to test drive?

I really like birdseye maple, nice choice, I sometimes think about a birdseye riser with red cedar limbs.

Can you believe my loving wife has resorted to actually counting my bows in my collection every couple of weeks? Almost like she doesn't trust me lol. I thought marriage was supposed to be about trust. It's probably my fault to a point. I try and tell her I don't go looking for this stuff the stuff finds me which is true to a point haha. Can you believe it though my wife secretly keeps track of my collection and how many "packages " come in the mail to me. Lol

There are ways around your problem, Nate.
1) Have bows shipped to your job
2) Stash them under the sofa. A good sofa will hold at least 4-5 bows 'spooned'. Ask me how I know.
