Fresh paint on an old bow
My old bear minute man has always been one of my favorite bows to shoot, but it was never much to look at, it had old dingy white glass and some FDE brown rattle can painted riser. I decided to strip the bow down and give her a new paint job.
I know painting up a bow isn't for everyone, but I like it and that's all that matters, plus I suspect she will shoot at least 10% better now

Over the top! I thought predator camo at first till I read that you did it. That’s awesome.

After a second look, I find myself wondering how in the world you did that? Details, please!!! Would make a great "How To" thread over in The Bowyer section.

I will try and find an excuse to paint something else and do a little step by step.
Honestly though it is pretty simple, first paint it black, then cut out your patterns.
to make the shapes I laid painters tape down on a plastic cutting board and cut my patterns out with a razor knife, overlap the tape if you need a bigger pattern.
so after you put your stick pattern tape strips over the black, then you paint the whole thing brown, then cover up some of the brown with tape and paint the whole thing grey, then cover some grey areas with tape and finish it off with a sand color. I would have liked to have done another color but there was not anything appealing at my local hardware store.
the hardest part for me was waiting for each coat to dry.
