1st trail camera
Well guys picked up my first trail camera. It’s a wild game visions 14 lights out extreme. Since I will be scouting out public land I’m gonna be locking it up and putting it up high. My question is on set up. I had it set to every 30 seconds when somthing is moving. I set it up in my house to see how it works and I took a lot of pics more than I realized. Would 1 min apart when moment is around better? How do y’all have yalls set up?
Re: 1st trail camera
Mine will take three pictures at 30 second interviles.

Re: 1st trail camera
Mine is set on for every one minute, I have gotten more than ten pictures of one Deer several times. Haven’t used it much this year.
Re: 1st trail camera
I always set mine for 3 shot bursts too. I have found I usually get at least one good picture out if the burst. Also have been able to check out buck racks from various angles this way too. Figure I can always delete what photos I don't want..
Definitely a personal preference thing

Sweet so 30 seconds is about right
Re: 1st trail camera
I'm not sure about settings. I think I have mine et on a 3 picture burst also. Every 30 seconds. I also leave it on public land. Knock on wood I've never locked it up or placed it real high.
Either I'm lucky or the ones who have seen it (only got pictures of one guy who saw it) were true gentlemen and left it. I don't know.
Regardless, good luck and have fun. It's almost as fun as hunting.

Re: 1st trail camera
I prefer video mode on mine, or 30 seconds as stated.
