I'm still doing three under just change my focus point. I am no longer looking at the tip of the arrow in relation to the target. Kept same anchor point and everything.

Looking great Dave. Your knocking the very center out of the heart....let alone considering the much larger lung area.

Instinctive may or may not be as accurate but its darn sure accurate enough to kill deer....or squirrels at close range right?
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

So it’s been a few months since I changed to instinctive shooting and I am really digging it. Today I shot the best group that I’ve ever shot at 35 paces (about a yard per pace and yes towards the house). I don’t know if I could ever replicate this group and it only took four shots to achieve. The third shot was re-done because it was 2 inches higher than the green circle. I didn’t believe I (personally) could ever be this accurate instinctively. I’m glad I switched and I’m not going back. I really enjoy being able to watch the arrow fly and not thinking about aiming.

Now if only a deer will walk in front of my arrow. Maybe I will terrorize a local compound league next year lol.
