Dad's pet deer
This is some video I shot last weekend at my family farm during the opening weekend of Missouri's firearms season. These deer are in Dad's yard just about every day grazing on the food plots he has there. It's pretty disheartening to hunt hard all day and return home cold and hungry only to find a field full of your quarry standing next to the house. We leave them alone for the most part, though, unless it's towards the end of archery season and we still have freezer space.

I can just hear the pep talks at night..."Be brave, be bold. Be 'in their face' and they will leave you alone".
It appears to be working!

That's cool, I have a similar thing going on here. The Muledeer are here on our place pretty often. But we have to have a special permit to be able to hunt them.
