New member hello

#1 Post by Longbowfanatic » Fri Sep 08, 2017 10:56 am

Hi everyone,
I just became aware of this site and wanted to say hi. I began shooting trad archery in 2008 when I gave up my wheelie rig. Although I began my trad journey with a love of the classic D shaped longbow, I have now expanded my affection to include R/D longbows and recurves :D . I look forward to learning from you all and sharing our passion of trad archery!

Take care,
Dennis

Hi, Dennis, and welcome! You can loosen up the tie here ;) ...on second thought, hell; just take it off!...and join us at the fire!
I see you are in Rockford, not far from me (Waukegan).
Glad you've joined us!

Kirk,

Thanks! Waukegan, huh? That's cool. My buddy, Jeremy Holden, lives in northern Lake Co. (pretty sure it's Lake Co.) and we get together to shoot 3-d's often. If you like shooting 3-d's too, maybe we can get together sometime to throw some arras!

Usually we shoot at Ojibwa Bowmen, Bigfoot Archers or Waukegan Bowmen, all in south eastern Wisconsin.
