Practice or Hunting
Is most of your "stick time" spent actually hunting, practicing/training, or bow building or arrow construction?

Re: Practice or Hunting
For me, the majority of my "stick time" is practicing, working on form, or stumping. Some years (like last season) I don't even get out and hunt (gasp!) so the shooting part plays a very big role in my archery.

I had to vote practicing but only because season is out more months than in. From September through mid January I hunt more.

By far practice. Of course I also attribute practice time as those times I simply shoot, because I love archery so much and just want to enjoy.
No doubt arrow building and messing comes in second

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

Practice unfortuately. I don't hardly have time to hunt. But hey I get to shoot!
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
