Green Apple season opens again in Ky

The majority of your bowhunting year is spent practicing and/or training. This is the place to discuss it!

Man I gotta give Tony kudos here...Like a dummy I picked up a handful of green apples from my neighbors tree.(it was ok)

.....let me just say I think them lil 1-1/4" suckers are hard to hit at 20 yards! Id barely miss and barely miss so many times....I finally did get one and dead centre split it. But even if I knew, which I dont, I'm ashamed to say how many arrows it took! I figured it to be a challenge, but it's proving to be more so then I first thought! Now it's become my prerogative to slay the other 4....

I could see it was wounded so I moved in to 16 yards to finish it quickly.

That was the only humane thing to do. I hate to see apples suffer, especially the green ones.

Glad someone else got in on the action, they are hard to hit for sure! My last outing was unsuccessful! I just know when to take pictures.

My first shots from 20 and 15 were not successful, but then I backed up to 25 yards and this was the first shot. I shouldn't mention that it was my only hit from there!
