Couldn't stand it no mo'...

The majority of your bowhunting year is spent practicing and/or training. This is the place to discuss it!

Couldn't stand it no mo'...

#1 Post by Captainkirk »

So, was outside this evening weed-whacking and trimming the bushes, finished up with the sun hangin' low. Put my yard tools away in the garage and I heard a whisper..."please, please..."
Over there against the wall sat my target bag, pretty much where he's sat since the err...'incident'...wouldn't ya know it, the neighbors had just left 5 minutes ago. I couldn't resist. I strung up the Griz and grabbed a couple used and abused woodies and, well...yessir, I did. Shot until the light was going, and not too shabby either, I might add. Some of you know exactly what I'm talking about, some of you newer guys might have no idea (and that's OK). The target bag is it's own worst enemy, though...emitting a loud "THWACK!" every time an arrow flies. Gonna jinx the whole deal if I'm not careful! Shhhhhhhhh! :?

Couldn't shoot last night, tho I wanted to desperately. Neighbors were having a BBQ out on their deck; small kids present. Even though they would not be able to see me they would have heard it for sure with that noisy target.
Time for a new straw bale or two, methinks...
