Modest as always Capt. I don’t know anything either. For once I was less concerned about something than I should have been. Usually the other way around. When it first happened I rubbed a little steel wool on it to make sure it was smooth, which it already was. Is that what you are kinda talking about? It’s more of a dent than a crack. Regardless gonna shoot it till it breaks and hopefully it won’t. This is the bow after all that survived more than 70 dry fires. If a three foot fall does it in than so be it. Doubt the lifetime warranty covers stupidity.Captainkirk wrote:This is just me, and I don't know nuffin'...but I would blend out all the sharp stress risers and brush on some poly to seal out moisture. Cracks begin at sharp edges and corners.

Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

Re: Beautiful Morning
Poly will turn yellow in a few months and the fix will stick out like a sore thumb .
Also Super Glue has better capillary action and will find its way into the cracks better .

Point taken. Like I said, I don't know nuffin'...besides, while I said "poly" I was thinking Tru Oil. But you are probably right about the super glue.
Dave, I was thinking more like rubbing the damage area with a round screwdriver shank or similar to compress the fibers and round out the sharp edges.
