Thanks for that link! At least with the immunity thing there's hope (unlike CWD). If it weren't for hunters CWD would be a full blown epidemic by now.

If it weren't for ranches raising wild type animals as tame, we likely wouldnt even be dealing with it...ugh.

True dat. Or timed feeders. It's deer, not bear over bait.

Well that crud comes from getting bit by a midge . Happens during dry years for some reason .

Whatever it is I got to agree with an early post, he should not be feeding them big piles of corn to eat together. Bringing all those deer together eating from the same pile could potentially cause a spread of something, If this is can be spread. I personally wouldn't take that chance. But I have no say over how others choose to do. I do enjoy getting daily deer pictures to my phone from his three cams on different farms. But I would not want to chance spreading something.

Hopefully the sick deer has blue tounge or other similar. I'd think as poor as it looks, if it were CWD, his ears would be drooping down and forward. Without testing though there is a chance. I just used the pic as an example Tony, I think everyone was/is clear on the fact that you don't have any control of that situation. Hey, I'd like to be looking at fresh deer pics too, so you are well ahead of me! I hope you get a shot this morning!
