My son and I are headed for WI in a few hours. Although it's going to be ridiculously hot I just may have a photo to post when we get home. If nothing else time in the tree is always good for the soul!

Killed deer 2 and 3 for the season in the mission to reduce the deer herd on the farm I lease from. A doe I killed with my bow and then the one I killed with my truck on the drive home. This year's herd reduction is starting with my compound so I'm not posting the videos of the harvests here out of respect for the mission of this forum and its trad roots.

Yes, 2 deer and one bear in the last year.

You've done better with your truck than most of us with our bows!

Far more expensive though. Less good meat too.

I know I've posted this photo on this website already but I just can't help myself from doing it again. Tell your kids that their presents may be a little late because ole Santa is down one reindeer as of 9/3/17. And, yes, he tastes like Christmas!
