Still sealing them up?
Re: Two Dozen (wood arrow build along for the archer on a budget)
They all sealed just low on time.

This took entirely too long to get to. Sorry yall.
Got the equipment out tonight. 12 finished arrows plus one unfinished bare shaft. Also have six that were given to me by James.
I have them all fletched and ready to tune. I'll post more on fletching later today.

So first I get all set up and connect the fletching tool to the base i made which is just a board with two screw. I try and adjust the tool so the bottom of the right wing feather is as far left as it can go without going off the shaft and the top of the fletch is as far to the right as it can go and stays on the fletch. Trick is to dry fit it before you glue. Here is a pic of the glue I use. I usually start by repairing old arrows first.

Pictures of repairs. Once you have the fletch tool set usually I don't have have to readjust it ever.

Then I line first fletch up with the notch on the nock and rotate around allowing glue to dry for about 20 seconds. Then I let fletched arrows set for a day before tuning. After completing all arrows I put two tips on and one on bare shaft for tuning.

Re: Two Dozen (wood arrow build along for the archer on a budget)
Tuning is easy. I start at 10 yards and eventually move back to 20 once I get close. These arrows are super long so they should fly weak. Basically the bare arrow will likely hit to the right of the fletched shafts if they are weak. I'll shoot a couple groups and cut maybe a half inch off all shafts until bare shaft is within three or four inches of fletched shafts. Then I make quarter inch adjustments. Tips are hot melted on so pulling off trimming the shafts retapering and putting tip back on is easy. Once groups are on I will move back to 20 yards and make further adjustments if needed. I like to leave my arrows a tad weak. Then cut, taper, and glue all shafts to match and put a broad head on one to test broad head flight. If your arrows are to stiff aka bare shaft hits to left of fletched shafts you can adjust point weight. For simplicity sake I use 125 grain heads and adjust length so that I am only playing with one variable. Always get excellent results this way. I'll take pics of tuning process soon.

Re: Two Dozen (wood arrow build along for the archer on a budget)
So as I stated above I started my tuning process from 10 yards because I knew the arrows would be so off. So I rear back shot two or three groups below is pictured the first. The arrows flying weak so I cut off a portion of the arrow after removing the tip re tapered all three shafts and shot another group.

The next group. Now this group initially took at 10 yards and didn't notice enough variance between the bare shaft in the fletched shafts so I stepped back to 20 yards where I completed the rest of my tuning process so below is pictured a group from 20 yards. I said before I bare shaft tune from 20 yards but I start at 10 if I know the arrows are going to be very very off that way I don't hit something off Target.
