It's starting to look like a bow.

Got my stave out tonight and did some analysis. Inspired by the second self bow thread and a clay hayes video. The work continues tomorrow. Need a heat gun and will get one by end of the week. I was really inspired to continue when I saw one of clay hayes first bows that had a knot hole clean through the limb, as in you could literally look through the limb, not to mention he killed his first self bow deer with it. I'm once again determined to make this cruddy stave a bow. So what if it doesn't survive 25 shots. It will still be a bow I made.

Not sure whether I will.put recurve into limbs or leave it straight. I know it wont shoot as efficient without recurve, however I think recurve will compound my twist issues with propeller twist ( I intend to try and remove some of it). If I'm not able to remove all the propeller, I can see recurve adding issues, even though design would be more efficient.

I've seen the heat guns at Harbor Freight give decent service at a low price. Or you could buy quality once and see it last longer.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.
