Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
Re: Hunting the Osage Bow build along **Teaching a bow to bend**
Limbs were off center adjusted for it by tillering for an asymmetrical bow which is what this stave has basically offered me. I'm not one to turn a bow down. Adjusted the low brace to be more even. String is going over center now. Walked out to back yard and lobbed an arrow at 1/8 draw. Dont want to even chance it till I get it on a tillering tree. So yes I guess I technically have made something that flung an arrow! Lots of work to go but we are getting there.

Looks pretty good! Remember; Clay Hayes' bow is a mighty crooked stick and he shoots fine with it!
Aim small, miss small!

Yep. I like the flaws. I will probably leave them in this one and do the bending stuff with subsequent bows. I'm not going to master this on the first go.

Awesome job Dave.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Very cool Dave! Although it looks close to me, I look forward to seeing the finished bow.

That is probably a never ending learning process. But it seems like those who take to it really enjoy working a bow from a stave. Then of coarse there is the satisfaction of shooting your own bow and then hunting and taking deer with them. I never graduated from saplings and string as a kid
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.
