I shot with Raziel in the back yard today for about forty-five minutes. He shot both the Little Bear and a 48" Black Rhino longbow rated the same draw weight. We both thought the Little Bear had faster cast. His accuracy was about the same with either.
I appreciate the advice on weakening the bottom limb. But as Tony suggested I think we're going to enjoy it as it is, and from what Craig said, maybe that much tiller is characteristic of the Little Bear. We now have 12 grandkids 11yo and under. Both bows will see a lot of use.

It looks like you have a descent starter bow for them and if they get interested, then get something a little better.
