Go back to 7" and see if they come back. Arrow stays on string a little longer. Higher brace makes them weaker (I think) , doesn't sound right but pretty sure it's that way...

Back to sanding and checking today, but then realized that this is MY bow, it will never be sold, and doesn’t have to be perfect. Time to spray some stuff! :me green:
While wet it is very transparent, you can clearly see the center Ibeam.

But it quickly drys and looks about the same as before, which is just right for me.

Okay it’s official, I’m not just right sometimes! Who would grab an almost empty can on the second coat and just “assume” it’s the same, no reading or thinking involved! Good thing the can was almost empty and I only got a small portion! :roll: :oops:

Okay don’t ask! Back to the drawing board, my next hour involved 00 steel wool, and plenty of elbow grease. I think it was quality control dogs fault, she just wasn’t on her game today!
