Venison Round Steak

#1 Post by Graps »

This is for the less than prime cuts of venison .
Cut like hind legs or shoulder cross grain about 3/4 to 1" thick .
One large sweet onion cut in half and sliced thick .
Put the meat and onions in a large plastic bag with the onions between the meat .
Put some Kraft Italian dressing in the whole mess enough to just cover all . Seal the bag with as much air out as you can . Put it in the refrigerator overnight and turn it over at least once whenever you think of it .
Now to the grill the next day .
Put foil on the grill but don't slit it . Pull the meat out but leave the onions in the bag .
Cook about 8 minutes a side and when you turn the meat over put the onions on another part of the grill and kinda keep after them rolling every minuit or so. Don't want to scorch the onions .
Keep the lid on the grill thrue the whole cooking process . Only open when you are tending the food .
Serve the onions as a side dish with the meat .

Like Red Green says " If the women don't find you attractive , they better find you handy . "
I'm glad my wife likes my cooking .

Sounds good, that one I tried today with the cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix sure was. Thanks.
