Cool...great idea! Never seen that before, a good use for old broadheads!

That is using your head! Never have I seen someone utilize a broadhead to form a knife! I'll bet he loves it!

For those of you interested in making one of these. I simply took a old antler, cut of a tine at preferred handle length. pay attention to the shape and direction it bends. You want it to fit the hand good. I also prefer to use a tine that I can cut of near the main beam as they tend to flare out there a little bit and it will prevent your hand from slipping off onto the broadhead. Once the tine is cut, I round and smooth the edges and end with sand paper or a file. Using a drill bit, I drill the end of it to snugly fit a aluminum insert. apply some epoxy and tap the insert in with a hammer. I prefer using a broadhead adapter with a glue on head so you can turn and position the broadhead to your preference.
As for the sheath..... I'm no leather worker. But I took two scrap pieces of leather, traced a pattern and drilled the holes. Artificial Sinew was used for thread. Might do a build along sometime with pictures once I get time.

Sweet! The insert idea is ingenious! A build along pictoral would be absolutely fantastic James!

I need one of those for work. I think that would make a great boot knife.
