A leftie. Update.

#1 Post by Graps »

Thought you might like to see a left handed knife that is left side carry. Very rare is this setup, because left handed people just use right handed setups.

This knife is made for the bear hunting guide that has been very good to my special needs while hunting.
He setup a ground blind and helped with the heavy lifting that my back just can't handle.
I'm going on another bear hunt this next June, and I'm going to give it to him then because he refused to take a tip.
This knife truly doesn't fit a right hand, the antler base falls at the base of the palm of the hand. But in the left hand, it fits like a glove.
Funny thing, I started this knife and then discovered how the handle came out. I was thinking of making a knife for the guide, so seeing he is left handed, it must be the one for him.

Funny how things turn out, very nice knife and sheath graps.

I'm sure he will be ecstatic to receive it.

That's pretty cool! He is going to love it, and it being for a lefty makes it all the more personalized for him. Couldn't have worked out any better graps, Beautiful work as always.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

Good to see you Rick.
Buy the way everybody, Rick (Dakota 18) was the other one that helped me a whole bunch on the bear hunt last year.
Thanks again Rick.

Another example of your outstanding workmanship, Dale!
BTW, Dale's blades are so sharp you could literally shave with them. Believe me.
