How to's, questions and build alongs for those who make or want to make their own gear made from leather. Get some tips on how you can make your own quiver, arm guard, etc. to go along with your Custom Traditional Bow.

Then take barge cement and apply the adhesive to both sides of the spacers and carefully insert them all the way in and flush with the outside edge.
NOTE: This step is not absolutely necessary, you can skip this but be careful when making the holes that the spacer doesn't move. I would also finish stitching one side before doing the other side.

Then set like a heavy hard covered book on the whole thing on a solid flat surface.
And leave it for at least a couple of hours.

Time to mark the holes.
Here is a couple of tools I use to do this. A pacer wheel and a fork with sharp points.
But for this project, I'm using an ordinary dinner fork.

Then with a straight edge, measure over about 1/4"

Then press the end of the fork into the leather to mark where the holes will go for the stitching.

Keep going by keeping one tine in the last hole and marking just three holes at a time.
You might have to use two or three spots when you reach the end and only mark one or two spots.

Repeat on the other side keeping the start point the same and starting from the flap end.
Then punch or drill the holes ( with a 1/16" drill ) for stitching.
