Way to go James! Glad you got a deer and I hope your surgery goes well. I had that done several years ago. Doc said to use it and don't baby it, so I went coyote calling and shot 2 and skinned em. It hurt like crazy but it seemed to loosen up my post op kipper.

I perched up today with my longbow, in spite of rifle season.

Sat in my perch until dark, no Deer were harmed! I did get a little excitement when a small Doe or button head Came from my left and passed by about 25-30 yards. It was focused on where I had seen something move earlier, then I looked where it was looking and saw another small Deer coming from my right. They meet about 35 yards in front of me and bumped heads a little, then they chased each other around a while, finally to went on out into the field. I was hoping Momma or Pop would come check on them but it never happened.

Does Ky consider buttons as a buck on a buck tag? I ask because KS does not. Here there has to be visible polished antler.
