They just might be moving especially if they were beaded down for the storm.

Seen 6 and a few Turkey. Closest was about 200 yards. No, I'm good on the snow.

About a month left of season I have 1 either sex tag left. Could buy another doe. However, there is no need. I have enough meat in the freezer now. Gonna enjoy the rest of the season and hunt some spots/properties differently and try to fill it with a buck. I may even try to stay on the ground in the thick stuff. Not going to be real picky now. I know a guy who likes to make antler handle knives that can always use more antlers!

Well, I suppose it's time to close this out. We do have n extended doe season in high population areas and along I-70 and I-35 from kc to Topeka. The closest spot I can hunt is only about 25 minutes away. Had a good season. Had alot of opportunity for some smaller bucks which I passed on. Never did see any of the big ones in person. Initially they were coming to the acorns great, then about mid November they slowed way down. I was getting 500+ pictures a week. After Thanksgiving up until last week I had 95 pictures of which 20 were coyotes or Turkey. I'm gonna slow.down some next year. Also I only plan to hunt with 1 bow next year, as I hunted with 4 this year. Thanks to all who followed along.
