What's up with Graps?
I have many friends here and figured some of you might be wondering what's up with Graps.
At the risk of sounding like a pout baby I'll shair some with you.
I have as some of you know been struggling with just walking because of a twisted pelvis. Got that purity much taken care of with Chyropracics. Still have bad days but for the most part it's good.
Now for what has kicked my butt emotionally.
Last March 28th I spent a sleepless night with severe ear pain and I finally got out of bed to discover I was totally deaf in my left ear and could hardly hear with my right ear.
Went to the ER and I had a double ear infection.
Left ear 100% included and the right was over 80% included.
They put me on Pennicylin and said it should clear up in about 10 days.
In about 2 weeks, I got a little hearing back and the pain was gone.
So looking online I found out it could take months to clear up but if it's more than 6 months, get checked again.
So at a ENT specialist with all the testing and a couple hours later, the prognosis; severe hearing loss of the left ear and moderate hearing loss of the right ear.
Permanent...........
That's all I have to say about that.

Dale, PM sent.
So sorry to hear about your issues, I've been having a few of my own and I know what a toll it can take on you. You are among friends here that actually care and are here to listen. Thank you for sharing, and let us know any way we can help, brother.

Praying for you Graps.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Thanks everybody but I'm not looking for sympathy, just explaining why I'm not very active.

I have some in both ears. I don’t hear deer no more. No telling how many times I’ve turned my head to have one 20 yards from me. I use to get frustrated at squirrels when in a stand. Now I wish I could hear them.
Happiness is a tight chain!

Sorry to hear about that. I think I know what it is like. If I really pay attention, I can barely hear the cicadas when they are making a racket for everyone else. I can remember when they were so load they almost hurt my ears. Now the hissing in my ears or head seems to drown out many sounds. combine that with background noise and I'm usually at a loss as to what is being said. To add to the frustration, my wife now speaks in a very low voice that isn't very clear to good ears.
My prayer for you is similar to my own prayer for myself; that the Good Lord through my faith in what Jesus did at the Cross, will help me grow and see the fruits of the Spirit in me, such as patience and caring for others more than myself. When I'm able to do that, my own problems seem to vanish and joy in being in the Spirit uplifts me - at least until I allow them (the cares of the world and my problems) to try to get me down again. It is the good fight of faith that will carry us through and lift us up in Christ Jesus.
Keep the faith, my friend.

Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.
