More AAF testing This time at 80 and 90 yards. 90 yards is really a poke for my ability as I don't practice or hunt at that distance and don't have a pin for 90.

Just playing around with the 3D printer again. We modeled up the parts for a Carabiner with our logo.

What is the advantage?

The C cells have more than double the A/H life over a AA cell. See:

Seems you would have to change batteries 3X as often!

For times when you are in a pinch. I have a few trail cams that use C batteries and a few flashlights but I have more AA batteries that I can shake a stick at. Its just a "hack" or "save" when needed.

or you can rig up a fairly simple solar pack to charge the AA batteries during the day and then let them run at night. Kind of like those solar garden lights.

I like that idea. Problem is, most trail cams are mounted to trees and the foliage blocks direct sunlight. Ergo...
