This big spender invested .98 cents

#1 Post by Carpdaddy »

 Walking through Wally World with the wifey when I passed by a big box filled with flip flops, and for a whopping .98 cents! I had read somewhere about a feller who made a bow quiver out of them. With the wife there to pay I picked up a pair while she wondered, she has learned to just not ask. Brought them home and took a pair of scissors to them. I was having visions.

I spent about 15 minutes on this big project, then went and shot with it.

Did quite well for what it is. Didn't slip down as bad as the one I used for a pattern, but it's probably 20 years old! It would be better if it were a little stiffer but overall I'm pleased. It would be easy to make a straight one but I like my arrows to come back with the limbs and not out in front of it.

I'm very pleased with the first storage quiver. It will fit into a 3" tube, guess I'll have to spend more big bucks for a pvc pipe! This is getting too expensive.
