Decided to put a hole in the base to tie a leather lace.

Hint; handle it a lot.
Fastest way to naturally patina a brass-framed gun or trigger guard is to get the oils from your skin on it and don't wipe it clean.

I'm trying to find a nylon brush that is used in an air pencil.
Going to make a flintlock pan brush with a piece if antler.
