Grab a log and you don't have much choice but to stay a while. Unless you let go of it, that is...

What sort of gear were you using, if you don't mind?
I was using a Bob Sarrels Blueridge short riser longbow (54# @28 and 60" long) with some full length 400 shafts and 175 grain heads. The hog was a badger broadhead and the deer was a Simons head and the opossum was a grizzly.

The simmons stopped on the seers off side shoulder blade and the hog got full penitration but did not touch bone (I want to see what the badger will do with bone, get hung up or bust through.) And the grizzly pinned that little critter to the ground. I also took a coyote with the grizzly heads. Full pennitration on him to but not much blood.

Yotes via arrow can be tough to track period. What weight Grizzly you using?

This is what a Grizzly Kodiak in 200 gr did out of a 46lb Maddog for my oldest son, 2 seasons ago. Outside of the sharpening chores, Grizzlys can certainly fit the bill!

All of the heads above are 175 grain. I have a 3 arrow quiver and each one had a different broadhead. Why? Just because I like options...
