I get 48. Unless you have to multiply before you add. Then I get 43. Please explain the calculation in detail.

That was about as much fun as walking through nettles in shorts.
Jesus replaces the old covenant and speaks to the believer the moral code of God by His Spirit directly to the heart. He is the eternal, everlasting revelation of God to mankind. In Him is both the knowledge of righteousness and the power to live right.

I used to hate these sort of problems in high school. They frustrate me to no end and my brain says "not gonna do it".

There was a Raphael Rivera in my 9th grade class in Brooklyn, the year the Russians launched Sputnick. This guy could outrun me, out hit me, beat me in any sports, was a science and math wiz and something like this problem would be as easy as 2+2 for him. He had the most balanced personality I've ever seen and was comfortable to sit and talk with anyone about anything. I've often wondered what happened to him. He sure didn't fit the typical "geek" profile we have today.

This one got me good three times.
I'm good at math but it got me because of not seeing details.
First time I didn't notice the one boot.
Second time I didn't notice the little objects.
Third time I didn't catch the times sign.
Guess this is proof that I'm not good looking enough.

Bottom row would look like this.
5+(19X2)=43

The total of (3) pairs of boots = 30

We would have to speculate that each boot would carry a numerical equivalent of (5) since three pairs equals six units times (5) = 30.
Same goes with what looks like binoculars but must actually be monoculars with a numerical equivalent of (2) ea.

But the little guy with the pair of boots on and what appears to be monoculars under his arm is a stretch.
